As a mother of two, I know the value of "freezing time." Children grow so fast and it seems like you blink and what was your newest favorite stage is gone. It is my goal every session to give you high quality images of your family that will last a lifetime, preserving each of these stages and milestones. As a teacher, I realized that my preferred clients will always be babies, children and families. I love creating lasting relationships with clients and getting to be a part of your family as your children grow. This allows me to get the most accurate images of your family. I understand some children need time to warm up to a new person, especially someone with a giant lens aiming at them. I often create games, or give them a "special helper" job to relax them and allow them to play before jumping into our session. This gives them time to be comfortable and honestly this time is often my favorite images of a session. Childhood is a time that we don't get back and even though we are looking forward to the next stages our children are headed to, holding onto this stage is something every parent wants.
I'm a 5th generation Jacksonville girl that lives in Jax. Beach. I love the sand, but hate the waves. I was a teacher for close to 10 years teaching everything from tap and ballet to Language Arts and Drama before committing to my photography business full time. I've been married to my college sweetheart, Kenneth, for 14 years. We have 2 girls Finley (10) and Ellis (6). Finley loves to assist by choosing outfits and telling me where she thinks the best light is for her sister's sessions and Ellis loves to model (thank goodness). I'm truely a wild child at heart that loves to laugh and have fun.
Portraiture photography based in Jacksonville Beach specializing in newborns, children, families, seniors and engagements.
